How to access Corsica?

By boat
Two ferry companies named SNCM and Corsica Ferries provide transportation between the continental French harbors (Nice, Marseille, Toulon) and Propriano, Ajaccio and other major harbors of the island. Once a week, the SNCM connects Nice to Propriano. The travel time is approximately 11 hours with traditional ships and about 4 hours with speed shuttles called NGV.

How to access the hotel once in Corsica?

Leaving Ajaccio: take the main road RN 196 south. Follow the signs Bonifaccio – Propriano.
From Ajaccio to Propriano you will pass through the following villages: Cauro, Grosetto, Petreto- Bicchisano, Casalabriva, Olmeto to arrive in Propriano.
Le Grand Hotel Miramar is situated at the entrance of Propriano on the left hand side of the road.
Be aware that some signs are featured in Corsican. For example, Prupria means Propriano and Sarte means Sartene.
